Psychedelic Ways of Looking: Exploring the Relevance of Rob Burbea's Work for Psychedelic Practice
Rob Burbea, perhaps the greatest British Buddhist teacher

Welcome to another Sunday Brunch, the weekly round-up of the best stories on psychedelic and ecstatic integration and critical spirituality. It’s just for paid subscribers but the first bit is free.

First, thanks to those who completed our brief survey (which is still open) telling us what you’d like to get from this newsletter. Big takeaway was not too much content - preference is for once a week. So we’re going to stop posting stories on Thursday and only do Tuesday interviews / podcasts once a month. But we’ll post more stuff in the community chat and on our Substack notes account, so follow us there.

We may end up just doing one essay a week. You also said the topics you like most are psychedelic and ecstatic history, and critical spirituality. If you want to add your opinion go here.

Juicy free link: leading psychedelic historian Mike Jay has a great new book out on 19th-century psychonauts, reviewed in the New Yorker here.
