Hi Jules, I will complete the survey today. As for how to spread awareness around psychedelic harms given the approaching wave of likely legalizations in the US, so many of us here drive cars. Billboards are a great way to get short snippets of information out to the general public in larger urban areas and along interstate highways. Just a thought. Also, when I lived in Tucson in the late 90’s, city bus stops had pictoral public service adverts about sterilizing needles. They were impactful!
Jorge Ferrer: my husband and I have very often Aya ceremonies in which the themes are the same and the contents complement each other.
Cosmic loneliness: I experienced it outside of psychedelic journey, it had the quality of a psychedelic experience, the Cosmic Loneliness/Abyss/Nothingness was coming in waves, I was screaming with terror, my husnand hold me in his arms and when a wave came, I screamed, it was very very bad.
Harm reduction in the underground: more education about criteria how to choose a qualified facilitator/setting. I am often abbhored to what kind of "facilitators" people go. No discrimination at all. Warnings, offering criteria how to choose, offering a list with bona fide facilitators.
Just completed the survey. For the folks who don't subscribe to your substack, but who fill out the survey, how should they message you about being added to your gathering on the 24th?
